SEP 22, 2004 (newstodate): The issue of a state tax on jet fuel consumption has gained new impetus as the Danish minister of transport now publicly supports the idea.
Denmark is thus joining ranks with some other EU contruies including Germany in the call for a taxation based on flown passenger kilometres or, alternatively, a quota system.
