SEP 02, 2004 (newstodate): GF-X has reorganised its business development organisation by defining new regional responsibilities.
Soren Starup, GF-X VP Business Development, will now focus on the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions, while handing over responsibility for European and African markets to Guillaume Drucy, GF-X VP.
Prior to this new task, Mr Drucy was working with GF-X business development in the Americas.
The reorganisation signals increased focus also on European mid-tier airlines and forwarding/logistics companies.
-We have now obtained a "critical mass" of customer portfolio to serve as the basis for a fresh approach to more segments in the markets, including Europe, says Soren Starup.
The number of forwarders and carriers joining GF-X has been increasing rapidly with 20 new forwarder members and eight new carriers joining over the past 12 months.
