SEP 30, 2004 (newstodate): CSA is in the midst of a major process and personnel audit, planned to be completed by the end of 2004, in order to enhance the efficiency of the organisation.
-The primary objective of auditing is not the reduction in the number of employees but the optimisation and enhanced efficiency of all internal processes, says Jitka Novotna, CSA spokeswoman.
-Potential reduction of the number of employees will result from the audit and will be especially focused on support and non-operations staff. On the contrary, in keeping with the fleet expansion, CSA plans to increase the numbers of flight and maintenance personnel.
Ms Novotna says an extensive program to secure redundant staff has been put into force, including compension schemes, outplacement, and repositioning within the company.
