SEP 15, 2004 (newstodate): September 15 is the cut-off day for Boeing and Airbus reponses to Czech airline CSA's tender for delivery of 12 mid-range aircraft.
The first phase of negotiations was concluded on September 10 with the meeting of the company president and the chairman of the board, Jaroslav Tvrd�k with representatives of the individual manufacturers the vice president of Boeing, Mr. M. Dailey and the vice president of Airbus, Mr. C. Buckley.
CSA expect to introduce its new aircraft by 2005 already.
Based on the outcome of the current tender, CSA will sign a purchase contract with the winner on October 30 this year.
