AUG 26, 2004 (newstodate): In July, the Danish IATA airfreight export market was up 13.3 percent in volumes, to 5,104 tonnes, while total market turnover was up 3.5 percent.
Among the significant changes during the month, the export volumes to Middle East were up 66,9 percent, volumes to China gew by 64.6 percent, while the volumes to North America kept almost stable, up only 0.8 percent.
During the period January-July, the IATA export airfreight market volumes were up by 11.2 percent to 33,678 tonnes, while turnover decreased by 0.5 percent.
Volumes to North Ameria were up 18 percent, China increased by 23.2 percent, while Korea was down by 2.1 percent, all compared to last year and including shipments on IATA carriers only.
