AUG 20, 2004 (newstodate): Danish Air Transport, DAT, is taking delivery of a converted ATR42 freighter.
The airline contracted French company Aeroconseil at Toulouse for the conversion of a DAT-owned ATR42 passenger aircraft into a full-tube, spider-net equipped Class E freighter with a capacity at 56 cubic metres, or some five tonnes of cargo.
-The aircraft will enter service from September 1 for FedEx on the route between Copenhagen and Oslo, says Ole Christiansen, DAT sales & operations manager.
The conversion cost is in the range USD 250-300,000.
