AUG 23, 2004 (newstodate): From September, Finnish aircraft brokering company Logimix will add flights from Copenhagen to Kabul for the Danish Ministry of Defence.
Logimix has long served the Ministries of Defence in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Icelandic authorities with weekly flights to Kabul to serve their UN troops stationed there.
The contract has been in effect now for 2.5 years, and will expire in nine months to be followed by a new tender among providers in the market.
The contract comprises flights with Boeing 737 passenger aircraft for troop transportation, and freighter operations to transport military equipment.
