AUG 04, 2004 (newstodate): Armenian carrier Armavia generated a total of 700 tonnes of air cargo and mail during the period January-March this year.
During the same period, the airline carried 164,000 passngers and now claims to hold 38 percent of the national market for air transportation, up 18 percent on last year.
With a fleet comprising four own Airbus A320-211 and two Russian aircraft, Tu-134 and AN-24, the carrier operates a total of 20 routes including flights to Moscow and Istanbul.
