AUG 17, 2004 (newstodate): Latvian carrier airBaltic plans to further increase its new hub in neighbouring Lithuania.
The SAS-owned airline has announced intentions of serving from this autumn a total of 10 destinations out of Vilnius, immediately cmpeting with the country's own airline, Lithuanian Airlines.
Since June, airBaltic has offered flights from Vilnius to Copenhagen, Hamburg, Berlin, Cologne and Dublin, and new destinations include routes from Vilnius to Helsinki, Oslo and Warsaw from August 15 and a new route to Vienna from August 17
