JUL 27, 2004 (newstodate): Austria's Vienna Airport continues its strong growth in air cargo through 2004.
In June, the airport generated a total of 18,058 tonnes of air cargo, up 34 percent on last year.
During the first half of 2004, the growth is now 19.1 percent, totalling 98,236 tonnes of air cargo.
The heavy increase in Vienna is driven especially by the strong development in neighbouring markets like Slovakia that has attracted much globalised industry in the automotive sector.
