JUL 14, 2004 (newstodate): In response to strong growth in its markets and network, Ukraine International Airlines has decided on further increases to its aircraft fleet.
In June, the airline signed lease agreements for the lease of two Boeing 737-400 aircraft.
The delivery of the first aircraft is slated for November 2004, and the second for April 2005.
The high gross weight of the new aircraft will allow the airline to use them intensively on the flights from Kiev to London, Lisbon, Madrid, Barcelona and Kuwait.
Ukraine International Airlines already operates seven Boeing 737 aircraft.
