JUL 15, 2004 (newstodate): Libyan airline Afriqiyah Airways has appointed two cargo GSAs market its cargo capacity.
Transnautic Aero will represent Afriqiyah in Germany, while CRS Airline Representatives will represent the airline in Spain. Both companies, members of EGSAC, will operate regular road feeders to Afriqiyah's online departure points.
In addition, EGSAC members in The Netherlands (Active Airline Representatives) and Norway and Finland (Airline Services) will sell Afriqiyah's services acting as subagents to Transnautic.
The Libyan carrier now operates five flights per week from Paris, three flights per week from Brussels and two flights per week from Geneva, using A320 aircraft with approximately two tonnes cargo capacity per flight.
