JUN 18, 2004 (newstodate): Norwegian Airconsult is rounding off a series of 15 confirmed relief flights to Ndjamena, Chad.
The 14. flight is leaving today, and the last so far confirmed will be operated within a few days.
-We have charted an IL-76 from Libyan airline Buraq Air and a Boeing 707 freighter from Ethiopian Airlines, and all flights have departed from Dubai, says Christian Juul Moller, Airconsult manager.
The program has been coordinated by UNHCR, Geneva and supports the more than 100,000 refugees from the civil war in Sudan now in eight camps in neighbouring Chad.
