JUN 22, 2004 (newstodate): The Slovak market for civil aviation has been further opened to EU-registered carriers following on the country's admission into the EU.
According to a draft amendment to the civil aviation law, foreign airlines will no longer be obliged to apply for registration in Slovakia. It will be enough for them to submit certificates from the EU member country where they are registered.
