JUN 29, 2004 (newstodate): Finnish logistics and forwarding company John Nurminen has pulled out of airport ground services in Finland.
Nurminen originally operated an own cargo terminal at Helsinki Vantaa Airport, but in 2000 the company sold a majority of the shares to German ground handling company, GlobeGround.
By selling its last remaining 34 percent of its shares in the joint company, John Nurminen has now retracted fully from the airport handling business to concentrate instead on its core business in specialised logistics operations.
