JUN 25, 2004 (newstodate): Since June 30, 2003 Aeroflot has operated a four times weekly-service between Moscow and Kaliningrad.
Since the start of the "air bridge", the airline has lifted a total of 266,000 passengers on 1,261 flights.
The airline now claims to hold 52 percent of the passenger volume on the segment, down from more than 60, reflecting the increased competition where a total of 11 daily flights are now offered, including those of Kaliningradvia.
The "air bridge" was established in response to Lithuania's imposition of visa requirements from July 1, 2003, for Russian citizens in transit between Russia and its Baltic enclave.
