JUN 25, 2004 (newstodate): Scandinavian forwarders can now book Lufthansa Cargo's time-definite products via the regional provider of EDI solutions, Tradevision.
-Scandinavia thus finally falls into line with our other markets where this option has long been available through Traxon, says Michael Schoop, Lufthansa Cargo sales manager Denmark.
The Scandinavian solution has been realised through a new updated version of Tradevision and an agreement between Tradevision and Traxon.
-In addition to this option, the two other options for electronic bookings of Lufthansa Cargo services are the internet, and our participation in the global airfreight portal GF-X, says Mr Schoop.
-In Denmark four forwarders Exel, Danzas, Kuehne & Nagel and Schenker are themselves members of GF-X, but as for the majority of forwarders there is now a choice between booking time-definite services via the internet, or via Tradevision, he says.
