JUN 10, 2004 (newstodate): Adding two more flights from Kuwait, Coyne Airways has now increased its services into Baghdad to four weekly services.
Coyne has been operating twice-weekly IL-76 and AN-12 cargo flights into Baghdad from Dubai for the last five months plus a number of ad-hoc
rotations for key customers.
-The danger and unreliability of road
convoys into Iraq has significantly increased demand for air cargo services from Kuwait and, once again, we have been able to respond to
this requirement and opportunity, says Larry Coyne, Coyne Airways CEO.
-Using Dubai and Kuwait as gateways into Iraq enables us to provide greater flexibility, value and delivery time advantages. We provide PODs on the day of the flight, full liability cover for all freight we carry and can offer deliveries direct to consignees in Baghdad or anywhere in Iraq, he says.
