JUN 08, 2004 (newstodate): cargo counts, a new Lufthansa Cargo-subsidiary since last year, is seeing its business concept gaining ground.
Thus cargo counts has just landed its first three-year contract with a Malaysian-based budget carrier, AirAsia.
Under the contract, cargo counts will take over responsibility of all cargo activities including sales, marketing, handling, accounting, IT, controlling as well as the flight data-, yield- and capacity management.
cargo counts already provides Total Cargo Management to Thomas Cook/Condor, Spanair and SunExpress.
Also a contract with German carrier Hapag-Lloyd Flug GmbH was signed in May.
