JUN 18, 2004 (newstodate): According to sources in the Latvian market, Uzbekistan Airways is due to launch a route from Tashkent via Riga, Latvia, to New York.
Said to be announced "soon", the route would be the first direct non-stop route between USA and the Baltic region.
