MAY 26, 2004 (newstodate): SAS Cargo has appointed Klaus Glendorf to head a new organisation, SAS Cargo Global Handling as SAS Cargo VP, taking office from June, 2004.
Klaus Glendorf was earlier managing director for handling companies Copenhagen Air Services and Novia at Copenhagen Airport.
Mr glendorf will take over the responsibility for SAS Cargo handling activities on a global scale, including the company's own terminals in the Nordic region including Copenhagen, Billund, Malmo, Gothenburg, Stockholm, Oslo, Kristiansand, Stavanger, Bergen, Trondheim, Bodoe, Tromsoe, and SAS Cargo's terminal at Newark, USA.
In his new position Klaus Glendorf replaces Anders Skantz, who will now take over the management of SAS Cargo's cargo terminals in Sweden that will be sliced off as an independent company from this summer, with SAS Cargo remaining the majority owner.
