MAY 19, 2004 (newstodate): Emirates Airlines has obtained financial backing from a conglomerate of international banks for taking in its fifth Airbus A340-500 ultra-long range aircraft.
The airline plans for fleet comprising over 130 aircraft by 2012 and is currently amidst a vigorous fleet expansion program.
