MAY 21, 2004 (newstodate): Taiwanese carrier China Airlines has added another two freighters to its fleet.
One aircraft is a Boeing B747-400F, owned by the company, and the other is a MD-11F on a one-year wet-lease agreement from World Airways.
The delivery of the two freighters allows the airline to add six weekly North America-bound all-cargo flights to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Dallas and Seattle.
In June this year, China Airlines will introduce another new B747-400F and will phase out one leased B747-400F each in July and August.
