MAY 210, 2004 (newstodate): On May 19, CSA Airlines has took delivery of its first two new ATR 42-500 aircraft at the plant in Toulouse.
The two aircraft are the first two of seven ATR 42-500s ordered in December 2003.
With this delivery, CSA will renew and
increase its current fleet of five ATR 42s and four ATR 72s. Feeding the airline's hub in Prague, the ATR 42-500 aircraft will be operated on the CSA regional network.
Since the beginning of the programme, ATR has delivered 665 aircraft, including 374 ATR 42
and 291 ATR 72 aircraft.
In Europe, 47 operators currently operate 290 ATR aircraft.
