Croatia ordered a fully integrated system for the control of the en-route, approach and tower phases which are to be installed in Zagreb as part of the Croatian Air Traffic Management system. Croatia is member of CEATS and will play an important role in the deployment of the European Single Sky programme.
Lithuania also selected the Eurocat system for the modernisation of the ATM system for Vilnius area control and aerodrome control centres.
With these achievements, Eurocat has now been selected by seven European countries Croatia, Denmark, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Sweden and Switzerland.
In Sweden, Stockholm and Malm�, Finland Tampere, and Hungary, Budapest, the air navigation services providers are now preparing the commissioning of these systems towards their operational use planned in 2004.
Thales ATM Radar landed a series of orders, including installation of a MSSR 970 S radar in the Czech Republic, a terminal radar for the Sarajevo international airport in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and four MSSR 970 S surveillance radars for Finland.
