APR 14, 2004 (newstodate): UK-based Skyroute, specialising in freighter operations into Russia/CIS, has named C.T.Freight agency partner for Australasia.
With offices across Australia, C.T. Freight will provide Australasian exporters with direct services into Skyroute's Middle East hub at Dubai, from where shipments are transferred to Skyroute's scheduled freighter services to the Russian and CIS gateways, and beyond.
According to C.T. Freight, established in 1981 and one of the top 5 international forwarding and logistics companies in Australasia, projects such as Sakhalin Island have already created numerous opportunities for the Australian forwarding community, and a need for specialised services between the two continents.
Skyroute says it is already quoting on a number of full charter enquiries from C.T. clients to the Balkans & Russia, and have recently assisted C.T. Freight in preparing a marketing campaign for a Russia Symposium held in Sydney.
