APR 23, 2004 (newstodate): New Czech budget airline Smart Wings, poised for launch on May 1, has signed a contract with GlobeGround to provide handling services at Amsterdam Airport.
In addition to Amsterdam, Smart Wings plans to serve Paris, Zurich, Madrid and Copenhagen with Boeing 737-500 aircraft.
Further expansion is planned in the second half of 2004, when the number of destinations will increase and the fleet will be expanded.
