APR 21, 2004 (newstodate): With an increase by 18.7 percent in volumes in March, Dragonair continues a strong upward trend.
The airline noted a total of 27,485 tonnes of air cargo, up 17 percent on February's loads.
The March-performance was a monthly record for the airline, beating the previous mark of 26,452 tonnes set in November 2003.
-The first quarter was very strong for us, with 13,659 more tonnes carried in the first three months of this year than were carried in the same period last year, says Stanley Hui, Cragonair CEO.
Dragonair operates a fleet of ten A330-300s, six A321s and eight A320s, in addition to three Boeing 747-300 freighters on a cargo network covering destinations in Europe, the Middle East, Japan, Taiwan and China Mainland.
