MAR 18, 2004 (newstodate): Albanian carrier ADA Air is seeing tough times, and has limited operations to a code-shared flight operated by Italian carrier Volare between Tirana and Bari four times weekly.
Among the routes that have been laid down are flights from Tirana to Ancona, Rimini, Pristina, Skopje, Athens and other destinations.
In addition ADA Air also operates cargo flights five times weekly between Tirana and Thessaloniki for DHL with an E110 aircraft - the only one left in the fleet.
-So we are not in a phase of expansion. On the contrary, we are reducing our activities due to the crisis the aviation business is currently facing, says Bajram Muca, ADA Air commercial director.
ADA Air first flew in February 1992 and became member of IATA in the same year.
