MAR 03, 2004 (newstodate): Danish regional airline Cimber Air plans to add new daily routes into E Europe.
From April 14, the airline will start operations on the route between Copenhagen and Kiev, Ukraine, and from April 18 the airline will open the route between Copenhagen and Bucharest, Romania, both with Canadair regional jets.
The new routes marks the start of a new strategy by Cimber Air, focusing on the potentials in serving the growing markets in the Eastern Europe which are generating new trade and business opportunities for companies in Scandinavia.
Cimber Air operates a fleet comprising eight ATR 42 and six ATR 72, in addition to two Canadair regional jet aircraft.
