MAR 15, 2004 (newstodate): In a move to cut costs and struggle for economic improvements in 2004, Hungarian carrier Malev will axe 100 jobs.
The jobs will go at Malev's Aeroplex Central Europe Aircraft Technology Centre that provides technical services and aircraft maintenance.
Aeroplex was set up in 1992 as a joint venture with Lockheed Martin Aircraft Services, and taken over by Malev as sole owner in 1998.
