MAR 09, 2004 (newstodate): In February, airports managed by the Finnish CAA noted an increase of 16.8 percent in total cargo volumes.
In total, the airports generated 7,067 tonnes of air cargo, og which 6.600 tonnes were international freight, up 22.3 percent on last year.
By contrast, domestic airfreight dropped 28.6 percent to 468 tonnes.
For the period January-February, total volumes were 12.503 tonnes, up 4.9 percent on last year, with international airfreight comprising 11,603 tonnes, up 7.6 percent year-on-year.
