MAR 15, 2004 (newstodate): Ezycargo has taken yet another step into world by adding Shanghai as its newest market.
This latest addition follows on the introduction of services in Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia and Japan over the past six months.
-Since its first launch in September 2003, Ezycargo has demonstrated an outstanding capability to improve efficiency and reduce costs to the air freight industry and I am delighted that we are now able to offer these benefits in China. In particular, I appreciate the support of the local Customs authority in approving the Ezycargo system for the processing of neutral air waybill, that is the first of its kind to be introduced in China, said Lim Yeok Chiang, Director & General Manager of CCN at the official China launch event in Shanghai.
Ezycargo will soon be launched in several other cities across China and will also be extended to other countries in Asia Pacific region before the end of 2004.
Fromt the start Ezycargo has been supported by Cathay Pacific Cargo, Japan Airlines Cargo, Qantas Freight and Singapore Airlines Cargo.
Despite calls for more airlines to join, the launch airlines still remain alone in backing Ezycargo.
