MAR 26, 2004 (newstodate): The Czech export airfreight volume is expected to grow by 6.1 percent annually during the period 2003-2009.
According to a market analysis prepared for Lufthansa Cargo, Czech air cargo exports generated a total of 41,143 tonnes in 2003, and will rise to 58,684 tonnes by 2009.
In 2003, Czech airfreight to Europe accounted for 48.8 percent of total volumes, followed by exports over the North Atlantic at 29.8 percent, and Asia/Pacific at 15.6 percent of totals.
The Czech market is among the fastest growing markets in the analysis of markets in E Europe and the Nordic regions.
