MAR 11, 2004 (newstodate): The EUROGATE project, managed by Bulgarian transport and logistics company Unimasters Logistics Group, has received financial backing from Raiffeisenbank Bulgaria, through the banks new EUR 20 million funding line with the Council of Europe Development Bank aimed at supporting small and medium-size enterprises in EU-applicant countries.
The EUROGATE project comprises construction of a modern office complex and distribution centre within Sofia Airport's environment.
Unimasters has signed a lease agreement to use the EUROGATE facilities for the next five years.
The company plans to use part of the covered warehouse and distribution facility to handle the fast turnaround groupage and airfreight business of UMLG and airlines' cargo business.
The rest of the warehouse will be used for more permanent storage on behalf of EUROGATE customers.
