MAR 22, 2004 (newstodate): Airbus is reportedly expecting to sign a contract for its Airbus A380 aircraft to its first Chinese customer before the end of this year.
According to press reports, Airbus is talking to Air China, China Eastern Airlines and China Southern Airlines, while Hainan Airlines is said to have already announced plans to buy the A380.
If a contract is landed in time, the Airbus A380 in chinese livery will be able to serve the air traffic in time for the OL in Beijing in 2008.
