MAR 22, 2004 (newstodate): On Friday, March 19, Air China moved the world's most expensive bale of cotton from Sidney to Shanghai.
-The bale was bought on an auction for over AUD 650,000. It was the world's finest Merino wool and will make someone a couple of very expensive suits or dresses, says David Williams, WEXCO managing director.
Wexco is Air China's cargo GSA in Australia and was booked by DHL Danzas to move the prestigeous shipment.
