MAR 15, 2004 (newstodate): On March 4, Air Astana added another Boeing 757-200 to its fleet.
The airline now operates three Boeings 757-200, two New Generation Boeings 737-700 and one New Generation Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
In March and April, Air Astana further plans to add five Fokker F50 aircraft to be deployed to the domestic network comprising destinations Aktau, Atyrau, Uralsk, Aktobe, Pavlodar, Karaganda, Kyzylorda, Shymkent, Pavlodar, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Kostanay, Semei, Balkhash, Taldykorgan, Taraz, and Zhezkazgan.
The increased aircraft capacity will enable Air Astana to introduce 23 new domestic and 11 new international routes, including flights to Cologne and Stuttgart, Antalya, Izmir and Bodrum.
