FEB 20, 2004 (newstodate): From April, SAS Group's Spanair will start operations from Madrid to Oslo, Norway.
Starting with four flights per week, and later increasing to six weekly operations during the summer peak, Spanair will be the first airline to provide direct services between the two destinations.
Spanair also plans to open a new route from Madrid to Stockholm, to be operated six times per week.
Spanair already flies twice daily between Copenhagen and Barcelona, and once daily between Madrid and Copenhagen.
In addition, Spanair operates six times weekly between Barcelona and Stockholm.
