FEB 03, 2004 (newstodate): Boeing has landed a USD 600 million deal with Nippon Cargo Airlines for delivery of three Boeing 747-400 freighters.
The new aircraft with a 120 tonnes cargo capacity will enter the airline's fleet from early 2005 to 2006.
Nippon Cargo Airlines plans to replace its existing Boeing 747-100 and -200 freighters with the new aircraft that will be operated on its European and North American routes.
The airline currently operates a total of ten Boeing 747-200 and one 747-100 freighter aircraft.
