FEB 16, 2004 (newstodate): Libyan airline Buraq Air will operate a new DAS Air Cargo freighter service from Dubai to Banghazi and Tripoli.
The route will be operated with an IL-76TD on a twice-weekly basis.
Buraq Air is Libya's first privately-owned airline, operating a fleet of three Boeing 727, three IL-76TD, three LET 410, and one AN-12 freighter.
Buraq Air added air cargo operations in May 2002, and plans to expand its network to cover Europe by the second quarter 2004.
