FEB 27, 2004 (newstodate): Russian Krasnoyarsk-based airline KrasAir plans to use Samara's Kurumoch Airport as a new hub.
In cooperation with Samara airlines, KrasAir will provide frequent traffic between Sochi, Krasnodar, Mineralnye Vody, Rostov, Anapa, Baku, Kiev, Simferopol in Southern Russia with West Siberia's Nijnevartovsk, Novyj Urengoj, Hanty-Mansijsk, Noyabrsk, Nadym, Surgut, Omsk, Perm via Kurumoch airport.
KrasAir works to set up cooperation with Russian airlines to increase frequencies and destinations through its hub at Krasnoyarsk.
KrasAir expects the hub project in Kurumoch to generate 300 additional aircraft movements at Samara airport.
