FEB 04, 2004 (newstodate): CSA's new cargo terminal at Prague Ruzyne Airport became operation from January 15.
The 750 million Czech crowns terminal is designed for an annual capacity at 100,000 tonnes when fully expanded.
In 2003 Prague's annual throughput was 40,000 tonnes of air cargo, expected by CSA Cargo's director to double over the next five years.
Among the features of the new cargo terminal are a fully automated system connected with the truk centre by rollers, up to 100 pallet positions, and a mobile bridge to handle any vehicle.
