DEC 08, 2004 (newstodate): Swedish provider Safegate succesfully continued its penetration of the Indian airport market by a new order to deliver docking guidance systems to Mumbai Airport.
Following on its first trial order for Kolkatta Airport in 2003 with the new order from Mumbai, Safegate will be supplying 19 Visual Docking Guidance Systems through its local partner, AMA.
The systems will be installed at 14 international bays and 5 domestic bays.
This has been followed up by a further order from Cochin International Airport Limited, Indias first private greenfield airport, for five more systems to be provided before the end of this year.
