DEC 08, 2004 (newstodate): After its first moves into the new markets of Eastern and Central Europe, Ryanair will keep further inroads on hold.
This year Ryanair has introduced routes to new EU members including flights to Riga, Latvia, Wroclaw, Poland, and Brno, the Czech Republic.
Ryanair does not expect low-cost traffic in the region to become profitable before 2007-2008, and will focus instead on new routes in Western and Southern Europe, sources say.
