DEC 09, 2004 (newstodate): Latest statistics from Swedish Airport Orebro now confirm that air cargo volumes will not continue last year's upward trend.
In November, the airport generated about 1,500 tonnes of airfreight, up five percent on last year.
The airport expects this year's total also to be some five percent up on 2003, which was a booming year at Orebro.
This year's cargo traffic has, however, been lifted on larger freighters indicating fewer freighter aircraft operations in 2004.
Last year's performance was also spurred notably by an unexpected rise in freighter traffic for Volvo.
