DEC 17, 2004 (newstodate): On January 17, 2005, a new airline, City Star Airlines, will introduce direct services between Aberdeen in Scotland and Oslo, Norway.
The airline will operate its sole aircraft, a Dornier 328-100 on the route, trafficked daily.
Set up in March 2004 with 16 employees and Atli Arnason as CEO and one of the owners, City Star will offer both passenger service and freight.
There is a connection between City Star and the Icelandic airline Landsflug as the investing company Hydra, which is owned by Arnason, has shares in both companies.
