DEC 02, 2004 (newstodate): The Eastline Group is planning for building an addition cargo terminal at its Moscow Domodedovo Airport.
The new terminal will be adjacent to the current cargo terminals, and work will start by next year, pending contracts with airline customers.
The design will not be frozen before these contracts are inked, to allow customers a hand in the actual lay-out.
Preliminary plans are for a 10,000 sq m terminal, adding to the 12,000 sq.m of the current facilities.
Domodedovo now handles about 20,000 tonnes of air cargo per year, growing by 30 percent annually.
