NOV 05, 2004 (newstodate): Russian airline Transaero is reportedly planning to take in TU-204 on a lease agreement.
The airline will reportedly lease a total of three aircraft from Egyptian airline Air Cairo, according to industry sources.
Air Cairo was the first non-CIS Tu-204 operator. In 1999, it took delivery of one Tupolev 204-120C freighter and two Tupolev 204-120 in passenger figuration on lease contracts with Sirocco Aerospace International.
