NOV 24, 2004 (newstodate): Korean air Cargo has launched combive air & sea services to Russian ports of Vladivostok and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.
The services is faster than a pure shipping freigher service, and less expansive than pure airfreight services.
Air & sea service allows shipments to move by air from anywhere in the world to Korea and then to the Chinese, Japanese and Russian ports by ocean with regular ferry schedules.
Korean Air Cargo launched its air & sea service in 1991, and now this service is available to the Chinese ports of Qingdao, Dalian, Weihai, Yantai, Tianjin, Dangdong, to the Japanese ports of Shimonoseki, Hakada, Yokohama, and to the Russian ports of Vladivostok and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.
